Poetry Workshop #2

Hi everyone!

I know this is short notice, but after the success of our first workshop and desires for another one to take place so soon, I've scheduled our next meetup for this Thursday.  It'll be in the same location as the last one (haven't had an opportunity to look into other venues yet, but I will as soon as I get a chance).

We'll work with the same format, but break into smaller groups this time around (3-5), which will allow us to discuss group members' poetry in more depth and spend a little more time with each person's piece.

Please bring 1-2 poems to workshop, and enough copies for yourself and your group members (5-6 to be safe) so they can follow along and write comments for you to take home with you.

Hope to see everyone there, including folks who I missed last time. Please contact me with any questions or suggestions. Looking forward to our next adventure!

~Jessica

*PS - if we have more folks than last time we'll have to split up and have a couple groups elsewhere in the cafe, which I know isn't ideal but we'll have to see it goes and do our best. I don't expect this to be a problem and I'll get there pretty early to scope out free tables for us as needed.

*PSS - We're not charged for reserving space, so let's support that by being good patrons :)

Thanks to lovely advice from one of our group members, I'll be checking out options for us to move to a local library. I might not be able to make it happen this time, but likely for future meetups. If the location for this workshop changes I'll let everyone know ASAP!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
