Developers Track: NoSQL and MongoDb Database Lunch and Learn

Join us for a Lunch and Learn at the Creed Interactive office (www.creedinteractive.com).  Dave Salmela will provide an introductory look at NoSQL using MongoDb, the most popular NoSQL database.  This lunch and learn is on the developer's track, which is focused on individuals that are looking to learn specific code and technologies.  Dave is the Vice President of Technology for Creed Interactive and an active member in the local database community.  Dave has over 15 years of web and database experience with a Graduate Certificate in Data Mining from Stanford.  FREE LUNCH will be provided.  What a better way to enjoy Valentine's Day than to pick up knowledge on a new database!

Dave, Thanks for the presentation. Were you using any framework for your MVC edit in place? Checking out MongoVue and I wish I knew about that about a year ago. Quite a resource. Thanks for the good presentation and interesting info.

I love CKEditor, vast improvement over fckeditor. I was referring more to the click to make an area editable and postback to your handler that you referenced. Thanks for the tip on MongoExplorer too.

Dave did a terrific job explaining how NoSQL is different and what the advantages are. His Prezi presentation was fantastic too!

You will need to find street or lot parking. You can enter the building by the doors on the corner of Wall St. and E 4th and head up to the 8th floor.

Where should we park? And then how to get in the building?
