SalaamGarage is a digital storytelling, citizen journalism organization that partners with International NGOs and local non-profits. Participants (amateur and professional photographers, writers, videographers, etc.) connect with international NGOs, create and share independent media projects that raise awareness and cause positive change in their online and offline social communities. Our members create stories to help cause positive social change by helping the small orgs who are solving the world's biggest problems and injustices.

These meetups are to serve the purpose of collaborating, educating, socializing, partying, awareness building and team building. Join is you have social media skills, pro or enthusiast skills in any media, or are just dedicated to this original approach to causing sustainable social change for the causes you care about.
