Saturday and Sunday we had events scheduled and more than 30 people signed up for each. Unfortunately less than ten people showed up for each event. While some of you dropped out, many did not. When we have a large group of people going to an event we have to notify the business so they can be prepared for us. When we do not show up it is not only embarrassing for those who do go, but can also be a hardship for the business. Sometimes they bring in extra help just for us. This email is to let you know that when you sign up we expect you to show up, or at least officially drop out as early as possible. We want to keep our good reputation in the business community. The organizers are volunteers and we put in a lot of time finding and organizing events for you. To not give us the courtesy of at least canceling is disrespectful.
