Silverton Wine & Jazz Festival May 19

Another great event, I know that Janice Scroggins and Reggie Houston are great, I don't recognize the rest.  But another good deal!

For $20, you'll get admission for two to the Silverton Wine & Jazz Festival on Saturday, May 19, plus two logo-imprinted wineglasses and automatic entry in a raffle to win a half-case of wine (a $40 value). The corks pop at noon, when Town Square Park comes alive with free-flowing samples from Willamette Valley wineries, paired with locally made morsels and pitch-perfect tunes from renowned Northwest jazz musicians like Janice Scroggins, Reggie Houston, Eddie Parente, and more; high-school bands will also be taking the stage to benefit local music programs. Dixie, gypsy, bebop, and blues acts will keep the toe-tapping party going on the Main Stage until 9 p.m. Many wine tastings are in the $1 to $2 range, and featured varietals include local options from wineries like Hip Chicks Do Wine, Vitis Ridge, Arcane, and more. Enjoy additional discounts at merchant booths, and raise your glass at the sixth-annual event where syncopation and fermentation go hand in hand.
