Was my first time at BR. I had a lot of fun, and enjoyed the friendly vibe of the place.

People I met were friendly and willing to help a beginner rider like myself, there was no pressure from anybody to keep up with the group. Definitely recommend coming out to meet people!

Byron we're glad to hear that, and we hope you'll join us on some evening rides as well.
So I seen several issues today that are going to cause more friction with Brad who is the camps caretaker. There are rules for black rock and they must be followed or we will not have access to the area. James if you could pass them on I and all of us who have worked and slaved on the trails would greatly appreciate it!
What are the issues
Dogs off leash while going through the camp Tapawingo, speed while descending through the camp property and blocking access roads near the south end of the parking area. There was also a toyota pick up that neatly had blackrock road blocked off. We want everyone to have fun, and none of us want to be jerks about others recreating but tensions are at an all time high with camp Tapawingo, and it would be very easy to loose access to the only year round gravity trails in the area.
These seem to be some of Brads "pet peeves" so to speak, otherwise it would not be an issue at all.
Yes I am aware of brads pet peeves, I have had many conversations with him over the years and as I have told him before that I have and will again mention it to the groups, but unless I know who it was I cannot be sure it was part of any of the groups there today. I will also again suggest to BRMBA that some better signage at the bottom will help with some of the parking issues. As you know all of us suffer for the few even if they don't belong to our groups.
Absolutely, I too can not say who's group they belong to, and I meant no personal attacks, I just wanted to pass the word on. I said something directly about the leash thing. No, we will all suffer for one persons mistake, for sure!
See ya at basic training.
