YA: The Park Service trilogy

We will be discussing The Park Service trilogy by Ryan Winfield: you don't have to read all of these quick YA novels to come, but they will all be a part of the discussion! :)

Here's the Goodreads description of the trilogy: "In the distant future, a pristine Earth is protected by a worldwide park service. But there's one problem: no humans allowed. The Park Service Trilogy follow's a fifteen-year old boy on his quest to uncover who's behind the mysterious park service and free his enslaved people."

The books are:

1. The Park Service by Ryan Winfield

2. Isle of Man by Ryan Winfield (book 2)

3. State of Nature by Ryan Winfield (book 3)

They are inexpensive on Kindle and, since the third one came out in 2013, they shouldn't be too hard to get a hold of. It's time for some fast-paced, post-apocalyptic fun.

We've had some family come in to town unexpectedly so I won't be able to make it. :( I was looking forward to it. I finished the 1st book and found it very interesting. I prefer to read a book on paper though. I don't know how you choose the books, but I have heard the Maze Runner series are really good books.

All three books are free with a Kindle Unlimited subscription. FYI.

Thanks for asking! We had chosen it at our last meeting, but I forgot to add it in all the holiday hubbub! You saved the day, YA-hero-style. :)
