Oye! Come dance Cuban-style Salsa Casino and Rueda! Casino is salsa dancing Cuban-style, as developed through a combination of Afro-Cuban rhythms and Cuban Son. Casino can be danced within a couple, but it also incorporates the Rueda, a social form of dancing where multiple couples dance together in a circle, following calls from the Rueda leader. It’s social dancing at its best and tons of fun!
We hold our classes at Cheek to Cheek Dance Studio on Sundays at 5:00pm (right off I-5 in
Clairemont). Beginners and those who have never danced salsa are especially welcome. You don’t need a partner, as we’ll be switching partners constantly. Classes are $12 per hour session. Oye Casineros! Join us this Sunday for our weekly Salsa Casino & Rueda Classes! Our class is held at Synergy Dance Zone on Miramar Road.
