Study Hall and Pseudo Soup

By popular request, we are changing the format for the next couple of months. Everyone is working at different rates and on different learning materials, so instead of teaching a class, we will provide help or pair off in teams or just hang out. That's the "study hall" part.

For the last half hour I'd like to try a new activity, which I'm calling Pseudo Soup: We'll pick from a pool of problems of varying difficulty and write the steps in pseudocode, without trying to get it to actually run. Then over the week, whoever wants to can put it to code and we'll take a look at it together next time.

Beyond that, about the end of April, we'll experiment with a different structured environment geared to brand new coders, and between now and then those who are interested can help me vet the tutorials I'm looking at. As always, your suggestions are welcome!
