18 days, 16 hours - An award-winning film of a trans- Atlantic sail race.

Meet and eat around 5:30 pm. Presentation follows a short club business meeting.

Don't miss Bruce Borowsky's screening of his experiences crewing on a 72 foot boat in a trans-Atlantic race.  Imagine going from microbursts on Chatfield to hurricanes in the Atlantic. Quite a shift in scale, especially for a relatively novice sailor. Bruce will take you through the highs and lows of the experience.
Oh, and did I mention that all it took for him to win a spot on the boat was a short essay.  Would he crew in a trans-Atlantic race again?  Ask him!
Bruce is a professional videographer and founder of Boulder Digital Arts.  This video won first place at a national film festival.
Please give us a heads up if you think you'll be at this event. ([masked]).  We'd like to get an idea of numbers so we aren't moving tables at the last minute.

We sailed Chatfield with Bruce many times. The race started in Southampton and my sister (ed there) who livwas thrilled to meet Bruce there and see the boat. The last couple of days of the race were nail biting.
