What we’re about
"Suraanjali" is an "ensemble" of like-minded artists, singers and music enthusiasts from the Indian subcontinent. It's mission is aimed at creating an atmosphere of powerful musical experience, mutually facilitated by a discerning audience and committed artists bringing a "passion" and “excellence-in-performance" to the art of "musical vocal expression”. Dedication, and a commitment for the music and "art" are the essence of the premise.

The main objective for the forum is to support and encourage the talented singers and artists to take up the performing art of "singing" earnestly, and further develop their skills and interests. In the past 15 years many accomplished performers of DC-metro region have been part of this forum to advance their passion for the art; ...we certainly hope it has been fun as well; ....the Journey continues .... and we invite you to join us.
The participants are mostly the residents of Northern Virginia and Southern Maryland. The forum is limited to adults only and certain criteria for participation will apply. All activities are on non-commercial basis and the events will be held in NOVA and MD locations.
The membership process will entail:
1. audition of your performance
2 brief discussion with the organizer(s) to determine mutual interests, alignment and compatibility with the stated mission and guidelines. Membership will be considered only after completing the above process.
