We welcome all large breed dogs and their owners to join our group. Our group’s goals are to: continue to improve our relationships with our dogs, assist with all types of training, and -- most of all – get together for social events and have a doggone great time! We also welcome all potential dog owners and those individuals who may have questions about a specific breed or about dog ownership in general. The San Antonio Big Dawgs advocates responsible dog ownership through exercise, training, socialization and owner education.

Current Dog Breed Members: Labrador/Rottweiler mix, Border Collie/Rottweiler mix, Pitbull/Lab mix, Lab/Chow mix, Rottweiler, Doberman, Pudelpointer, Husky mix, Border Collie, Labrador, Plott Hound mix, American Pitbull Terrier, Louisianna Catahoula, Weimeraner, Bloodhound, Great Dane, German Shepherd, Labrador/Great Dane mix, English Bulldog, Greyhound, Boxer, Collie, Cane Corso and Bullmastiff...
We even have Labradoodles!

this meet up is for anybody who wants to work on there basic obedience skills. This would also be good for anybody who needs to work around distractions. Bring treats, 6' leash, clicker (if used), long line (if needed)

      “Kat. Lot of patience and continue to reinforce the good behavior. Treats always work with my Rolex. Just a small bite--I buy Little Jacks and cut them in half. He has been in doggie training classes with Gary Oswalt at Rob Cary for several sessions, but most of the training you can do yourself. We do have members of the Big Dawgs group who are dog training and sometimes come along on a walk. Also many of the members have great suggestions-- Join us soon. Rolex and Tonya”
