Unfortunately the park had no shade, the group was pretty large & as dalton's dog said not enough time for every one, but no matter what I still think we all got something out of it & got tips how to handle our dogs in certain situations, thanks to Vicky & dalton's dog "big" guy, LOL

This was a great training meet up. It was nice to have distractions around to work on our sits, downs and stays. And from what I saw with the dog "aggressive" group, they were getting a lot of good socialization in. Thanks so much to everyone who came out. Special thanks to Jimmy and Vicki for arranging it and giving out some great training information.

Jimmy - GREAT meetup! Thanks for organizing!!! Hope we do this type of meetup as often as the group has interest in participating!! Only negative was we might need to bump it a little later during the summer for the heat....and scope out other meeting places that might offer a bit more shade to escape the sun. Other than that - we had a great group of dogs and owners this evening!

I would love to bring my Brutus! I just want to make sure its ok. he is a 3 yr old great dane we adopted in november. he seems to have some dog aggression issues. he's ok when dogs visit the house, but when on a walk goes crazy when we see another dog. Would this be something we would be able to deal with at this event? Please email me at [masked] and let me know. Thank you so much!!

The purpose of this meet up is to hopefully have something for everyone. I would like to get a small group and work on us having a little demo team. I want us all to learn from each other, thanks Jimmy

Looking forward to learn more about obidience, how to handle my dog who sometimes gets aggressive if other dogs are around, but is not aggressive w/people. He also pulls too much when walking on the leash. At home we do not have problem w/basic obidience, only when we have him out in a park, etc. So I need all the tips/help I can get for Cino.

I enjoyed the meet up but I thought there were too many aggressive dogs. Because there were so many, I found myself concentrating on the aggressive dogs and not on my dog. It would be much better to have a meet up for the aggressive dogs seperate than that of the non-aggressive dogs.
    •  Loved the concept however the sun was way to hot and doggy and owner got to tired. Should be broken up to sections throughout dates or times/

I was reinforced on what I felt was right about my dog. Even though I felt like my dog was out of control and aggresive, she really wasn't. It's all about people behavior. How a person approaches a dog and how the owner reacts. I still need more training as does my dog. I felt that the training and interaction with the other dogs and their owners was really helpful in giving me the tools and confidence needed to reinforce the positive attitude in mysef and my dog. I will definitely attend more of the trainings and meeting sessions that are offered, that I feel will be in the best interest of my dogs.
    •  Very good meetup. Worked much better when the groups were divided, and the AD's worked together. Thank you for putting this together; really looking forward tothe next one!
    •  Good- 1. Help some people work on the issues with there dogs 2. taught some people that the problems with there dogs may be more reactive then aggression 3. made new friends and learn from others BAD- 1. Little too much going on- not enoght time for everybody 2. no shade in park 3. little too hot
    •  It was a large group & smartly divided into 2 different groups, 1 for the "aggressive" dogs & 1 for obedience
