Thanks for caring about the group and giving notice that a new organizer was needed. Do you mind if I ask how much money is required to keep the Meetup going and how much does it cost to maintain?
I am very interested in promoting urban farming, gardening, sustainability through permaculture.

I took over the organizer position of SA Permaculture in Practice meetup group because the previous organizer disappeared and the group was about to disappear also if the dues weren't paid.  I find I'm not a good organizer because I don't live in San Antonio so it's hard for me to know where to hold meetups, also I do not know what kinds of activities the members would like to attend.

This group has over 190 members but we're not meeting each other.  I hope someone will step up and help make this group active, because I think we all care about permaculture, we're just not sure what to do about it!

Please email me if you'd like to be an organizer, or if you have some ideas for meetups you would like to attend.
