Meet Faisal Saeed Al-Mutar, the man behind the Facebook page

Global Secular Humanist Movement

Faisal Saeed Al-Mutar is an Iraqi writer, born in 1991 in Babylon.

He is an advocate for freedom of thought, science, reason and the free market economy.

Al-Mutar is the founder of the Global Secular Humanist Movement and Facebook For Science. He is currently at work on a book called Dogma, which represents the dangers of unsubstantiated beliefs and how we as humans can live a better life without them.


Two months ago at the age of 21, Faisal moved from Iraq to Houston this past March.
