DATE: Tuesday 12/4/2012 TIME: 10am to 3pm WHERE: Sara's Phat Pad See address in details. WHAT THE?! - We're getting together to make Scandinavian cookies and foods for the holiday season! There's a lot to do so come to work... if we get lots of people we will divide off into groups to attack each item. There's plenty of room and plenty of fun to be had. I'll cook up some taco soup to eat for lunch... bring any other snack or lunch item you please. I have water to drink but otherwise you might want to BYB. If you'd rather be part of the peanut gallery and just knit and make sarcastic remarks, more power to you! Come along! The items we'll tackle on Tuesday are: Lefse, Krumkake, Norwegian Walnut Crescents. Links to what the hell these things are: http://en.wikipedia.o... http://en.wikipedia.o... http://www.huffington... The Krumkake is pretty easy to do... just takes awhile to get them all cooked up on the grill. The Lefse is quite a process! I'm going to try to have all the potatoes riced before tomorrow to make the process run quickly. The walnut crescents aren't too taxing. Please remember I live in a house with two cats and dogs. While I'd normally have the dogs out the entire time I have one dog in a cast and need to keep him close. He's friendly and sweet but a huge German Shepherd. Expect some fur and pet dander. Call if you have any questions! Hope to see you all there!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
