The focus of this Meetup is the religion of Wicca; practices, history, traditions, evolution and related topics. This is a social gathering, NOT a workshop or class, although there will occasionally be demonstrations of rituals, etc. Generally there is an icebreaker topic to get things moving, then it's open forum for discussion of any topic relating to the faith.
It is a smaller, more intimate group, so if you don't like large crowds, this might be the place for you! We are not a politically correct bunch, but remain respectful of individuals. However, any topic on the floor is open to challenge and critique. Please check politics and personal religious baggage at the door.
You do NOT have to be Wiccan to join. Member experience ranges from long-time practitioners, priest/esses, to those who are brand-new to Wicca and/or are interested in learning more for their own information.
PLEASE NOTE: The core Meetup is adults, supervised children 12+. No children under 12 please (exception is babes in arms, not yet mobile), unless otherwise noted for a special event.
