The 2012 Elections: Predictions and Insights

The 2012 Elections: Predictions and Insights

October 12, 2012
7:30 p.m.-10 p.m.

Joyce Beers Community Center, Hillcrest
Admission: general, $12; members, $7

SDAS is doing something a little different this year for the national, state and local level elections. We are offering a panel of four astrologers who will present brief astrological interpretations of the upcoming elections that will focus on what issues will be paramount in the minds, moods, perceptions and whatever else the American electorate will use to decide this year’s elections, along with some predictions of the outcomes.

The four astrologers presenting will be: Loda Shaw, Diane Ronngren, Deborah Parker, and Jim Shawvan, all of whom are known to SDAS members.

Each of these panelists is an experienced astrologer and presenter who will bring their particular expertise and passion to apply to their interpretations concerning this year’s election cycle:

Who can forget SDAS’s predictive genius, Jim Shawvan, and his 15 minutes of national fame and media coverage during the 2000 presidential race between George W. Bush and Al Gore, when Jim accurately predicted that the there would be problems with the vote count and that the ultimate outcome would be delayed by some weeks.

Loda Shaw is known for his knowledge and passion regarding mundane astrology.

Diane Ronngren is known for her timing techniques and exquisite command of details to support her conclusions regarding events and public mood in relation to social policy, drawn from a variety of predictive techniques she is also known for.

Deborah Parker (who could win a prize for her number of Pluto aspects) balances a keen understanding of the political animal with a deeply intuitive response honed through her long-term study of Qabalah and its relation to astrology.

After the panel members have concluded their presentations the remainder of the evening will be devoted to Q & A and insights from the audience – both from their own research and in response to charts presented on screen that pertain to the elections. This promises to be a lively evening and we hope you will join us.
