I live in the North County and am starved for beading friends. Looking forward to meeting you all.
"Edinbane" is a beaded pouch necklace that holds a porcelain button that I got from the Edinbane Pottery Factory on the Isle of Skye, Scotland. The colours are of heather and creamy seafoam, and I put tiny purple freshwater pearls on the fringe.
Have sold since early 1990s. Just closed my business last year, though, and now I can bead just for FUN!
I love seed beads the most. Delicas make me swoon, and I am addicted to tiny 15s, too.
Beadweaving: peyote, brick and square stitch.
Grade school, during summer vacations in northern MN near Indian reservations. First purchase, a loom and a hank of purple opaque seed beads. Hooked ever since...
It's a great group of gals who freely share ideas and inspirations for jewelry-making and beadwork.
I am looking forward to meeting you and doing some creative work again. It's been a while since our last meeting yeah, we have not mt since my trip to India, will tell you about my exciting trip soon. I am sure you have made some artistic pieces. Looking forward to seeing your work and meeting up soon. Wishing you the best for 2010.
Hello Most Marvelous Miss Ellen,
It is totally the best that we've reconnected...and that we have beading in common. You rock!!
