  • YOU CAN'T MISS THIS ONE!!! BRING YOUR CLIMBING LEGS!!

Start at 24 Hour Fitness ride east through town and climb Lake Wohlford. We will continue on N. Lake Wohlford Rd, past Woods Valley Rd. We'll make a right on Valley Center Rd and head into Rincon. We'll pass Harrah's Rincon heading towards Pauma Valley and the base of Palomar. Once we hit HWY 76 we turn right and climb approx 5 miles to S. Grade Rd.

This is our turn around point. The Tour of California will be flying off Palomar and down towards Pauma Valley. We'll re-group and descend like a group of screaming banshees. You know me this is the fun part!!
Having said that safety is key here. The cross winds can move you right off the road.

We'll stay on HWY 76 past Rincon to the infamous Cole Grade Rd. This will be a 2 mile mental test. This will be a great spot to come and watch the TOUR. I was here in 2009 and watched the gnashing of body and bike battle this climb. There was a huge screen that followed the race. There's pleanty of parking and the views are to die for. At this vantage point you can see Palomar. With good optics, watch the group come off Palomar. I'LL POST PICS, LOOK FOR THEM.

From here we'll ride into valley center and make a left on Woods Valley Rd. Again ride by Lake Wohlford heading back to Escondido.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
