Saturday Morning Yoga in Allied Gardens Weekly Meetup

What a great way to start your weekend! This basic flow yoga class was started in 2007 years ago with the intention of making yoga accessible to all people regardless of your financial situation (recommended donation is $5 but some give less and some give more). My name is Rebecca and I am a registered yoga teacher and personal trainer who has been teaching yoga since 2002. I would love for you to join us on Saturday mornings.

This 9:30am class flows gently. We take time to break down poses and work on alignment. Working with a core group of poses you can gain familiarity and knowledge of the more common asanas. There are a variety of other poses I work in from week to week to help round out the practice. Through hatha yoga, the physical practice, you can increase your strength, endurance and flexibility. Many who practice yoga experience benefits such as reduced stress, fewer aches and pains, feeling generally stronger, and health improvements.

If you are new to yoga this may be the class for you!

If you have practiced yoga before but want a flowing class that moves at a slower pace, this may be what you're looking for.

If you are looking for a gentle way to wake your body up at a reasonable hour on Saturday this might be the class for you!

Not everyone that attends this class is a member of meetup so the RSVPs do not accurately reflect class attendance. If you are the only one aside from me that has RSVPed don't worry, there will be others :)
