This intermediate vinyasa class is great for those who already have knowledge of the basic yoga poses and sun salutations. It is a multi-level class so there are options for many levels of experience. We will take the basic elements of a physical yoga practice and build layers while flowing to the rhythm of our breath. This invigorating Saturday morning practice will help you flow fluidly and build strength in the upper and lower body. By keeping a constant focus on the breath and a balance between effort and softness we can learn to stay calm and focused on and off the mat. As a result of heightening your mind/body/breath awareness you may also notice benefits such as releasing tension, anxiety and stress.
This class was started upon request several months after I began teaching the 9:30am basic flow class at the same location. I am thrilled to be teaching these community classes on a donation basis to make attending yoga classes possible for everyone! The recommended donation is $5.
