Donation yoga in Clairemont!! Formerly "Saturday Morning Yoga in Allied Gardens," I began teaching this community class in 2007 in conjunction with a karate studio in order to make yoga affordable for everyone. Now we have expanded to 2 classes to accommodate who like a more vigorous practice!
The basic flow class is at 9:30am on Sunday. This is a 60 minute Yoga 101 class where we focus on alignment, breath, balance and the more common poses. This class is open to beginners and all others.
The intermediate class begins at 8:00am. This vinyasa style class links breath with movement, builds heat within the body and elevates the heart rate. Those attending this class should have previous yoga experience.
Click on the individual events on the calendar for more detailed information on each class.

The suggested donation for each class is $5-12, pay what you can.
Please come a few minutes early your first time to familiarize yourself with the studio. If you do not have a mat I have several that I'm happy to share!
A little about me, the teacher. My name is Rebecca. I have been teaching yoga since 2002. I am a 200 hour registered yoga teacher and have had specialty courses to work with Pre & Post-natal women, seniors, cancer survivors and others with special needs and currently working on a 500 hour training. I work in the fitness industry as a personal trainer as well and have a background in dance and karate which gives me a unique understanding of the body. I feel that movement is the key to life. These weekend classes are special to me as I have always wanted to be able to offer yoga to anyone who is searching.
