Morning Paddle and Breakfast! (No Rentals)

We'll meet at the beach by the Ferry Landing in Coronado then paddle past the Aircraft Carriers on North Island. We'll cross over to America's Cup harbor and have breakfast at Mitch's. We'll continue around the bay past Harbor Island then through the Maritime Museum then onward to and around the USS Midway Museum, after that we'll cross back over to Coronado to finish. Should be 9 to 10 miles total.

Ya, we screwed up not knowing about the Star of India going out, we could have been those kayakers who got their photo taken with it...darn it. Thanks for all the photos Chris and Steve.

Mr. Money Bags. I heard there's a tradition that on any breakfast paddles usually the host buys breakfast for everyone..ha..ha.

Oops, I meant Saturday class in Fallbrook, and trying to meet with some old high school friends on either Sun or Mon.

Shucks....Don't think I'll ever get a chance to go out with you. Had signed up for a class in Fallbrook on Sun. Leaving for Mexico (Mag Bay) on Wed. (taking kayak).

I'm trying out for crew on, Jada, a 1938 yawl based here in SD. She does tourist trips, whale watching, memorials @ sea, etc. Just another attempt at getting my feet wet......FEET WET...get it?

    Jim,
Do you think Ken and I can do this? We're 'sit on top'
kayakers. We did the South Bay trip a few wks
    Ago but just 6 mi.

Hi Chris, well it is a bit longer than you guys have done before but, there is a breakfast break after about 4 miles. Of course after breakfast there's another 6 miles on a full stomach. You paddle well together so I think you could make it, it'll be tough though.

Thanks, Jim...we're seriously thinking about it.
