Tell us about your experiences, favorite trips. Do you have your own boat (a kayak or a canoe)?

I once took at 10-day kayak trip on the pacific side of Baja California, which was my first time packing stuff for a trip in my kayak. When I was living in Arizona, I kayaked and canoed with friends that had their own boats as often as I could up the rivers of Arizona. I don't own any of my own, but would love to have a good reason to get one. :)

What type of kayaking do you enjoy? What level would you place yourself, beginner, intermediate, advanced, Instructor?

I feel very comfortable in a kayak but would call myself a beginner because I've never had regular experience. I also have a lot of experience rafting and a little in canoeing which helps with intuition. I feel most comfortable in relatively calm waters, but I'm excited to try open ocean kayaking.

My name is Jessica and I might be an amphibian because I would be in, or around water all the time if I could. I have had several multiple day excursions by raft or kayak in my life, but I've never done it regularly. I'd like that to change.
