Sold my hot pink sit on top when I moved here from Miami Beach a few months ago. I'm curious to try SD paddling despite serious wussiness about cold water and wet suits.
I've kayaked in lots of cool places from the Everglades and the Florida Keys to Ha Long Bay in Vietnam and Chilean Patagonia. Best days usually involve dolphins.
I couldn't do an eskimo roll to save my life (well, let's hope I could do it to save my life) but I've been paddling since about 1998 and had my own kayak for six years.
Thanks for joining the CHSD meet up group. I'm hoping you can make it to our meeting this Saturday at the new Central Library. Looking forward to meeting you! Barbara
I have a friend who just did it recently. I don't know lots of details. You can often see them from the shoreline in the Kona area so it would not be necessary to swim with them. :-)
Welcome to Women Traveling Together San Diego. Please join us on Oct. 8. You can swim with spinners dolphins near Kona on the big Island of Hawaii. :-)
Welcome. Sounds like you have a lot to share! I look forward to talking to you. I hope to see you at the event on the 18th!! Thanks for joining!
Steve van Gelder grew up in Glen Oaks, Queens and was friends w/my ex. He studied w/chef Paul Prudhomme in New Orleans and opened a Cajun restaurant in Jamaica, Queens near St. Johns U.
Hi Lindsy . Are you related to Steve Van Gelder in NY who used to own the restaurant Cooking with Jazz?
Hi Lindsy Welcome to the meetup!
Je vous en prie Madame. C'est un plaisir de vous accueillir parmi nous. A la prochaine!
C'est un plaisir de voir plus de gens s'interesser a la langue francaise. Bienvenue!
