Father Joe's Thanksgiving Day 5K Run/Walk

The race is a nice way to start Thanksgiving Day: you can burn some calories by walking or running before you chow down and the reg fee goes toward feeding the hungry. Help Father Joe provide more than 1.7 Million meals. You can help change the lives of your neighbors in need. Run or walk on a course winding through beautiful Balboa Park.Each participant will receive a commemorative long sleeve T-shirt with colorful logo design.

Free refreshments at Spreckels Organ Pavilion.

Race numbers for participants registered after Nov 7th can be picked up on Wednesday Nov 23 from 2-6pm in Balboa Park's Spreckels Organ Pavilion. Race numbers may also be picked up at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion on Thanksgiving morning before 7:45am.

Age 13 & up (UNTIMED): $35 through 11/5, $40 after 11/5
Age 13 & up (TIMED): $38 through 11/5, $42 after 11/5
Age 6-12 (UNTIMED): $20 through 11/5, $25 after 11/5
Age 6-12 (TIMED): $23 through 11/5, $28 after 11/5

Event Day Registration:

Same day registration will take place between 6:00 AM and 7:30 AM at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion in Balboa Park.

Parking is free.

***No retractable dog leashes allowed!!!***

Present your race bib at any ticket window and receive $5 OFF the 1-Day Pass. Limit (6) six people per coupon. Offer valid[masked] until 11-22-2012.

    This is actually a very mellow, laid back event. Unless you are right at the start line, it's pretty much a bottleneck for the first 2 miles. I am going to try to be at the front this year as I would like to run this one!
