Mystical Sufi Chanting, bring water for blessing, and finger foods to share
This is an evening of Sufi Meditation to be held each week, this is the spiritual heart of our Pusakah...(spiritual inheritance) it is for those who wish to participate in an ancient 1450 year old tradition of the Uwaysi Kwahjagan Naqshbandi Sufi Khatm, (traditional group Zhikr[rememberance of God}) we are gathering together to leave the cares of the world behind us, as we chant the Qualities or Attributes of the Divine in a circle of meditation, a potluck will begin the meeting, and there will be a short Sohbet (spiritual sufi teaching) on the science of Tassawuf or heart purification. Questions of a spiritual nature will be addressed for those interested in learning about the sufi path. Anyone in need of prayer or spiritual healing is encouraged to attend. Shihabudeen an Uwaysi Kwahjagan Naqshbandi dervish with over 20 years on the path will be our host.
