Photoshop: Contrast & Color - K.I.S.S.!

  • May 8, 2013 · 7:00 PM
  • Photographic Arts Building - Balboa Park

Ever asked yourself, “What makes a good color print, and how do I use the basics of Photoshop to achieve my desired results?” If so, then this workshop is for you! Using the K.I.S.S. (Keep It Super Simple) method, I’ll show you how to take well-exposed digital images and improve them with just a few key but critical functions ...

The cost to attend is $5 for this 90 minute Meetup, payable when you RSVP online - This will be the last Meetup before the summer break, and it's one of the most popular, so don't miss it!

A useful handout will be provided. Please note that in the interest of time, the focus will be on working with Contrast and Color, rather than other functions, tools, and concepts of Photoshop.

This low-cost workshop is designed primarily for those fairly new to Photoshop, but it is also a good "refresher" course in the basics for those with a bit more experience.  As this presentation is in a “seminar” format (via a digital projector), bringing your laptop is NOT recommended, due to limited space and time. Questions encouraged!

I'll provide bottled water, so if anyone else wants to bring goodies, chips and dip, cheap snacks, etc, please let is know - Let's have some fun!

RSVP early, as we need to strictly limit this to 35 people - We should be finished up by 8:30 PM - See you there!

John Watts :-)

I messed up on my days. That's what happens when you are retired. I am just glad that I didn't try to attend tonight. That almost happened...

Thanks, John! The information you provide is top notch and extremely helpful - it is really helping me to connect the dots (no pun intended even though it works). I'm looking forward to the next meeting.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
