So, you just got back from a photo shoot, and you've got all these wonderful images - now what? How do you properly edit all of your images, pick the best ones, and then make the most out of them using Photoshop?
• This Meetup will focus on the concepts of proper image editing, then deciding how to maximize your images, rather than the mechanics involved (which tool to use, which button to press, etc.).
• When it comes to a good final image, it's important to be a tough "self-editor" of your images, then knowing what you're aiming for before you can properly use the tools in Photoshop.
• In a "seminar"-type presentation, John will show you how to do this while he's open in Photoshop and Bridge. Questions encouraged!
• Also, those who RSVP are encouraged to pre-submit up to 5 JPG images - Using Bridge and the projector, we'll then have an interactive editing session near the end of the seminar using what we've learned. Please submit by Friday, 09/06/13, either by email or webpage upload - before submitting, please click here for sizing suggestions.
The cost to attend is $5 for this 90 minute Meetup, payable when you RSVP online. A useful handout will be provided. Please note that in the interest of time, the focus will be on Editing and Concepts, rather than other mechanics, functions, and tools of Photoshop.
This low-cost workshop is designed primarily for those fairly new to Photoshop, but it is also a good "refresher" course in the basics for those with a bit more experience. As this presentation is in a “seminar” format (via a digital projector), bringing your laptop is NOT recommended, due to limited space and time. Questions encouraged!
I'll provide bottled water, so if anyone else wants to bring goodies, chips and dip, cheap snacks, etc, please let is know - Let's have some fun!
RSVP early, as we need to strictly limit this to 35 people - We should be finished up by 8:30 PM - See you there!
John Watts :-)
