Analyzing Crime in Your Community

Learn how to analyze crime data and link crime to traffic, street lamps and demographics to learn about your community. We will be using Python, GIS and a variety of data analysis techniques to study a wide range of issues related to crime in this long term project.

The project will require a lot of talents and is great for participants of any skill level; whether you are a Predictive Analytics Ace, or a non-technical but concerned community member, there is a role for you on this project.

Kudus to Eric & this project. This is a great example of how much opportunity there is in San Diego for open government!

There is a lot going on right now, with Donna Frye, Mailin Burnham center, Open San Diego, and the Library. Very exciting times!
