Weekly Intro to Pose/Chi/Barefoot/Mi­nimalist/Natural Running Class

The class is part of the San Diego Marathon Clinic. that meeting every Sunday morning at DeAnza Cove at  8 am.  I've conducted the class for many years or when not there it is taught by Ben Boyd of Effortless Running and a ChiRunning Instructor.

A way to continue and work on all the teaching and training that Dr. Todd has shared.

Here’s info on the Introduction to Pose Method/ChiRunning/Minimalist/Barefoot Running and the San Diego Marathon Clinic.

Here is where to get a list of all the times we meet:

The run is at 8 am at DeAnza Cove

Short Warm up and we start running with instruction along the way

Run is about 3 to 4 miles with massage stops and training tips during the run.

Focus is on running properly so there will be minimal or insignificant or no injuries

A help to fast runners who are injuring themselves. By going slow and working on proper running form and style one finds out:  How their form and style of running may be injuring them.

Come on down to the Marathon Clinic.  Groups in addition to the Intro do a Social 6, a Social 8 or 10, a faster 13 and an easy 13, plus there is a group that walks.

We meet Sunday mornings at DeAnza Cove, at 8 AM.

If you came at 7:45 AM you'd swear no one was going to show up. People arrive between 7:55 and 8:05, usually 20 to 30 people Running/walking 3 miles, social 6 miles, social 8 miles, social 10 miles, and a small group doing 13 miles around an 8 minute pace.

5 North or 5 South to

Take Exit 22: Claremont Drive/East Mission Bay Drive .

Turn left and get in right lane.
At stop sign turn right and go to next stop sign.
Turn left at the stop sign into the small parking lot.
Park towards the front middle.
We meet on the grass by the big eucalyptus tree.
