So that everyone in this group can sail, and to avoid the pitfalls of other groups where you can never get into a sail, because the group is to large, we limit this size of this group. Also, we are a very fair group. It's first come first serve. There is no signing up for a sail on a wait list, and then being picked by the captain/skipper. In this group, it's first come first serve. Looking "HOT" in a bikini will not give you any advantage.
WE ARE CURRENTLY NO T ACCEPTING NEW MEMMBERS. However please requist to join, and we will accept you in the order you requested to join, when room allows.
Do you see sailboats on the bay our out on the ocean and wonder what it would be like, sitting on a sailboat, with the wind going through the sails, and your hair, or spotting a whale or dolphin, on a beautiful day here in San Diego?
Believe it or not, I have a hard time getting people to go sailing with me and experiencing this. I'm not a bad person, it's just that all of my friends and family either live far away, or are to busy with life. San Diego Sailing Club is my way to reach out to fellow San Diegans, and invite them to go sailing. This group is simply a collection of people who are interested in sailing, and want to get out on the water. It does not matter if you have experience, or even want experience, or even if you have a boat. If you want to learn, great. If you don't great. As long as you like being on the water, your invited. We are not a charter, this is not a business. We are just a husband and wife with a boat who want to share it and the experience of sailing with others. We don't make it complicated. There are no hidden agendas or politics that you may run into with other groups. Any costs associated are to simply help with the cost of sailing (gas, food, drink, etc), and those associated with running this group.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
