The San Diego Singles Connection is looking for single ladies and men who like to have fun, want to meet people and are not afraid to try something new once in a while. Our events are held all over San Diego county and are geared towards singles that are late 20s and over. Our goal is to put on events where singles have the opportunity to meet other singles and get to know them better. We search to find unique activities for our members from time to time that other groups don’t seem to be doing. And we try to negotiate discounts on our activities to save our members some money, whenever possible.

Here are some of activities you might expect from our group:
- Wine tasting at wineries, wine bars, and in a private home
- Singles Nights at various locations around San Diego
- Happy hour sunset cruises on the harbor
- Dining at various restaurants around town
- Concerts
- Arts & cultural events
- Happy hour and social gatherings at some of the finer places like Altitude Lounge, Jordan@Tower 23, Wine Steals, and an occasional dive bar
- House parties
- Snowboarding & Skiing
- Kayaking
- Hiking
- Nightclubs
- And occasionally something unique like watching a movie on the sail of a ship or a tiki festival now and then.

We are not a match-making service, we organize activities that give you the opportunity to meet and get to know other singles. San Diego Singles Connection is a friendly, fun, and positive environment that encourages its members to get out there and make the most out of life. Hate being alone on the holidays? We try to schedule special events during those times whenever we can.

Online dating websites like E-harmoney and Match.com, for example, can charge as much as $35.00 per month or more and all you get is the ability to contact other members (assuming they’re still active). At our events you get to meet and interact with other singles and have some fun while you're there. All we're asking for is a small contribution of $10 per month.

Your membership contribution gives you:
- Preferred access to all of our events - You'll be one of the first to know about our upcoming events as soon as they are announced and you'll be granted admission to each event ahead of anyone who is not a member.
- Reduced-price admission charge on every event when possible. Non-members will always pay full cover charge.
- Special discounts on food, drinks, and other goodies at our events, when available (not available to non-members).
- Basic package with some coupons and discounts from businesses all over San Diego.

Some activities may incur additional charges for items like admission fees, kayak rentals, food, drink, etc., while others may not. Whenever possible, San Diego Singles Connnection members will receive discounts not available to non-members (i.e. reduced admission fees, reduced food or beverage charges, etc.). For example, at our Singles Nights at Wine Steals members receive 50% off a glass of wine. Depending on the wine chosen, that could save you as much as $6 or more. That's half of the monthly membership you would save at just one event! If you attend more than one event per month you could end up saving more than the cost of your monthly contibution from the discounts alone.

Why do we charge a membership fee?
- To encourage more people to attend events - We've found that as many as 50% of the people who sign up for an event tend to not show up when they have no money invested. A large number of no-shows affects the experience for those who do attend.
- To offset our expenses related to the arranging and organization of our events and any administrative costs that may be involved.
- To pay for advertising to promote the organization and attract more members for you to meet.
