Vegan Pastry and Baking Cooking Class w/Liz Gary!:)

Learn the latest techniques and methods used in baking extraordinary cookies, cakes, and pastries with all organic plant based foods. This hands-on workshop will get you into the kitchen to experiment with recipes you are sure to enjoy.

The class will be divided into small work groups, all the ingredients, equipment, and instructions will be provided. We will taste and evaluate the recipes at the end of each class and any leftover baked goods can be packaged up to-go to share with family and friends.

To participate please bring an apron and a dish towel, hair needs to be covered or tied back and food handler gloves will be required and available at class. This is a free class however a $6.00 donation for the food costs and supplies would be appreciated for take-home samples and recipes.

Class will meet on Tuesday mornings from April 23 - May 28 from 9:30-11:30am with new recipes at each session. Come join us for some great fun baking and taste testing delicious vegan baked goods!

*If you'd like, feel free to bring your own measuring spoons/cups/etc. to expedite preparations for everyone:)

    Hello all...the class on 5/28 is going to be pushed forward to 6/4, no class tomorrow! We will pick up again on the 4th with a class dedicated to gluten-free cake baking and professional decorating skills.     Join us next Tuesday morning for a class dedicated to the art of baking vegan pies and tarts! Bring an apron and a dish towel, have hair tied back or covered, and we'll have a rolling pin ready for you. Recipes include:

    Savory No-fail Vegan Quiche This is a hands-on class giving you the opportunity to experiment in the kitchen and sample recipes that you can make again at home and share with friends and family. Join us upstairs Tuesday mornings at Casa de Luz for a fun class where you can practice your culinary skills and master the art of vegan pastry and baking. (Donations for food costs are accepted to help keep the class going, thank you!)
