For the last 3 years, I have been in search of a local support group for those with a spouse or loved one with PTSD. No luck so far, so hear I am.

My name is Ann... my husband has combat related PTSD.  While the military & VA offers counseling for service members that need it, there is a lack of support for the spouses & children that may also be suffering.

Loving someone with PTSD can be an enormous challege.  This group was created in hopes of building a circle of support and friendships for the wives of veterans suffering from PTSD and/or TBI from our current War, Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) or Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF).

If you are like me and would like to meet other Veteran Spouses (Active Duty Spouses are also welcome) to gain support and understanding, share strategies for healthy coping, or just VENT about a horrible day, than this is the group for you!  Lets keep eachother motivated & hopeful!
