Let's review our work...pls have submissions in for this meeting a week in advance.

Pls use .doc files not .docx when submitting to our file sharing system....

You don't have to submit to attend. If you have not attended a meeting, come see what we do...it's a supportive group. For new members coming to our Meet-up...***We do not submit work for review on this Meet-up site...we do not read work at the meetings...we use a file sharing system where we submit and review online, then discuss ideas for each other at the meetings. Your first meeting will be primarily observation to see how the group works its magic. If at the end of the meeting you want to be a part of the group, we will get your email and send you a invite. Meetings are usually 2-3 hours.

I have a SCBWI meeting I'm attending this Saturday, but I can't wait to meet with you all again. Is there a tutorial I can review on how to use the file share?

You can drag your file into it, or copy it into your system memory, click the folder and your systme paste. It seemed to take awhile, once a couple hours for the new entry to show up.

PS: When all else fails here's Craig's email, he seemed busy but really good about getting back to me in a timely manner. Good Luck.

I am happy I went and spent all evening at home looking at some writing to prepare for submission to the group. Mission accomplished: I am inspired.

    Hello all,
I am new to this group and new to the writing community. I just self-published my first book. I'm not sure how this all works, but I look forward to meeting other writers. See you Saturday.

Yes, it is on Amazon. The title is - Little and the Magic Blankie - and you can "look inside" to view the first few pages. It's a children's picture book and was illustrated by my 11 yr old daughter. I look forward meeting you all.

Hi Caudia, Thank you for inquiring about my book. I don't seem to be able to message you directly so I'll respond here. I was surprised to hear you had difficulty finding the book on Amazon and that there is another book with the same title. I am going to have to search it again myself to see this other book. Meanwhile, please try this link -http://www.amazon.com...

Hi Andrew, Welcome. It was lovely meeting you, exciting to have another screen writer. I to am going to submit one completed, this titled "Lottery" similar to a old old black & white TV show "The Millionaire."' Premise? Sudden wealth doesn't change people, it exposes them. First I must get a good Pitch tho, with helpful feedback from our talented team.

Nice to have met you, Claudia,I'll look forward to reading it.

    Hi, all
My Feb. 1 submission needs a rewrite before it is worthy of your critique. It is fatally flawed because there is no catalyst (duh) and it has taken me weeks to realize this. So I would like to withdraw it and submit a new, improved version for Feb. 8.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
