Announcing a new Meetup for San Francisco Bay Area Outings!

What: Foothills Park Hike

When: Saturday, May 1,[masked]:00 AM

Where:
California Avenue Caltrain Station
101 California Avenue
Palo Alto, CA 94301

Hello Hikers,

Foothills Park is just a few miles from the roar of Silicon Valley in the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains and provides an oasis of serenity and wonderful opportunities for hikes amongst the oaks, toyon, and bay trees of this lovely park. The park is owned and operated by the City of Palo Alto and all guests must be accompanied by a Palo Alto city resident. Fortunately, your hike organizer is a city resident.

Our 7.5 mile loop hike offers scenic views and a wide variety of terrain and lovely varied forests. Our route will take us along charming Los Trancos Creek and will allow us to do a full loop around the southwestern section of the park.

NOTE: All hikers must meet at this carpool point since entrance to the park requires that you enter with a Palo Alto resident.

More details on the hike can be found below.

I hope you can join us for this lovely hike in the Foothills above Stanford.

Your Organizer,
Julio M.

We will end the hike by switching to the Steep Hollow Trail and following it back to our starting point.
