What we’re about
This Meetup is for Single Jewish Parents who may wish to join us for events that are sometimes kid friendly and sometimes parent-only to share in the journey of raising children in the San Francisco Bay Area. We began with a group of single parents at Temple Emanu-El in San Francisco, but chose to engage and encouraged a larger group of folks from the greater bay area to join us. The commonalities amongst single jewish parents provides the starting point for our group. Major Jewish Holidays are often celebrated together. The adventures and experiences are created by our members. Beware, the memories and friendships created while a member of this group will last a lifetime...
Often our meetings will now indicate one of the following, which we can describe here in a key:
P - preschool aged children
E- elementary aged children
M - middle school aged children
H - high school aged children
A+ - Adults only event
However, most events will include any parent and any child - we have found that this may be a way to allow you to quickly find some events which may be more interesting to our members and their various children.
