I'm proposing the final Tuesday of every month (a week early in December) for a Bitcoin meetup at 20Mission.

For those of you that have never been to 20Mission it's located on the corner of 20th and Mission streets in San Francisco. It's 4 blocks from both the 24th st Bart and 16th st.

We are actually meeting downstairs in the empty office space. The address is 2415 Mission st.

There is a parking lot located on the corner of Capp and 20th (one block away).

All suggestions are welcome. Food and drink is also welcome.

Current schedule

7:00 to 7:30  Meet and greet / drinks / food

7:30 to 8:00 Introductions / continue eating and drinking

8:00 to ???  Presentations / continue eating and drinking

??? to 10:00 Socialize and eat / drink then head to the bar

See everyone tonight. Coinbase will be bringing some beer, non-alcoholic drinks, and snacks. Looking forward to see everyone, and feel free to invite a friend who is new to bitcoin!

The SF Bitcoin Meetup will be gathering for drinks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 18, 2013 at The Sycamore, 2140 Mission Street in San Francisco. We will be attending the California NORML Cannabis in California Conference (http://canorml.org/100years) on January 25-26, 2013 at Fort Mason, handing out bitcoin client software to all attendees to promote the use of BTC in the rapidly booming cannabis industry (where banks refuse to open business accounts for dispensary operators). Please join us if you are interested in this promotion.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
