The Shenson Faculty Concert Series Presents

Latin-Filipino Musical Connections with Florante Aguilar and Chus Alonso
A free concert featuring contemporary music inspired by historical musical connections between the Philippines, Latin America and Spain. The concert will include compositions by Florante Aguilar and Chus Alonso as well as traditional “rondalla”, “jota” and other examples of musical styles that have traveled and interacted within the geography of Spain, Latin America and Philippines. There will be a reception immediately after the performance.
