3 New Meetups Scheduled + New location -- Gay Men's Salon Meetup

Hi All,

We're happy to tell all of you who found our previous location @ Samovar, though pleasant with good food a little crowded and noisy due to the music, that we have a NEW LOCATION.

We are still on a corner of Sanchez in the Castro but now it's the corner of Sanchez and Market in the Chase Bank's Community Room.  It's a large, pleasant, and quiet room with a giant conference table we can either sit around or use to divide the space for two subgroup; and it should comfortably hold up to 15 or 20.  It's totally private in the evening, we can bring food to share with the only limitation "no alcohol" (which Samovar didn't have either) due to their rules for community use.

The availability of space in the new location means that we will now meet there on the LAST WEDNESDAY of the month.

AND we have Meetups already scheduled for the last Wednesdays of the next 3 months as follows:

- Nov. 30: Gay Culture-- Does it Exist and, if so, is this a Good Thing?

- Dec. 28:  2011 Past: a Thoughtful Review -- What Have We Learned -- High points/Low points?

- Jan. 25, 2012: How is Technology & the Internet Changing Our Lives and Culture?

We'll send out more detailed information as the dates approach and you can also access, now and later, further details on the Meetup Website of San Francisco Gay Men's Salon by clicking either the Upcoming Meetups or Calendar links in the L hand menu.

Last point to mention is that while we will follow the same general format of first introductions/getting acquainted and then small and large group discussion, the Dec. meeting will be a little different for the holidays with time for snack sharing and socializing as well as the discussion.

Looking forward to seeing old participants and meeting new ones.

Richard, Ed and Lee-the Orgainizers
