SFHG Monthly Meeting

Start the New Year right and join us for our first SFHG monthly meeting!

For January, we'll meet on the University of San Francisco Lone Mountain campus in the Underhill Building (I know a guy ...). Look for the yellow and black "ROTC" signs at the entrance and you've found the right place - come into the courtyard and the classroom space we'll use will be on the left side, just past the sign that says "Admissions Office."

We'll cover club business and discuss the recent merger of SFHG with the Meetup group, membership dues, the year ahead and plans for SFHG, upcoming competitions, hopefully have a guest speaker, and of course, share some homebrew to close out the night.

Looking forward to seeing you all there!

Based on some conversations we had, I uploaded a few charts to the site, they are good starting points for exploring yeast strains. They can be found under More/Files. Cheers.

FYI, there is a no parking zone along Masonic, North of Turk, from 4-6pm, so that should be a good spot to look for parking after 6!

Looking forward to finally getting involved in all of this.

My alma mater! Parking is bad though... Any suggestions?

Depends on where you are coming from. The 31 stops less than a block away. 38, get off at Masonic and walk south three (long) blocks. Also, I think you can park along Masonic after 6pm.

The 43 stops at Masonic and Turk.

Good comments on the parking situation --- if you drive, don't park on the University ramp area near the Underhill building without a permit or you'll get a ticket ($60). Parking available on Turk and side streets - as stated by Jay, students will still be gone next week, so it isn't the worst time of year.

I live in the neighborhood (Univeristy Terrace). Parking should be fine. Undergraduate students are out on break until the week afert next.
