It varies depending on taste and smell. I have gone through several phases of particular brews. It was first Ales, then Wheats, then for awhile it was IPA; the hoppier the better. Now its Belgian-styles and Saisons.
I only brewed once but I was more of an assistant's assistant than a brewer. Plus helped in the bottling at Pine Street Brewery for awhile. I'll start soon
My first taste of good beers was back in 1997 at a Scottish game event in Maryland; Killian's Red, Newcastle, and Sam Adams Lager. Since then, I have been tasting and appreciating the fine qualities of great brew.
Everyone was so easy to talk to. Each member shared their past attempts and successes of crafting brews. I learned a lot and can't wait to participate more so.
