Lafayette Meet Up, Sunday, December 20, 2009, 2 PM - 5 PM

Hi folks,

We are going to have a small but interesting meeting this month. A new member has agreed to be in the hot seat while I demonstrate a stop smoking technique. Should be fun.

How to get here is below.

We will meet at 2 PM at the HCH Institute:

3702 Mt. Diablo Boulevard
Lafayette, CA 94549

I will leave it for you to Map Quest or Google Maps to find your way to Highway 24.
If you are coming from Oakland:
Take highway 24 East, through the tunnel. Pass the town of Orinda. Take Mt. Diablo Blvd./Acalanes exit. Go through stop lights onto Mt. Diablo Blvd. Pass the Lafayette Reservoir on the right. Drive approximately 1/4 mile further. Pass the Veterans Memorial Building parking lot (on left) and be prepared to make the very next left turn up the hill. (There is a center turn lane.) It looks like you're going into a construction site, up into a hill. As you drive up the road you'll veer right two times. Look for the HCH signs. Our building is the first building on the right. It's nestled in the trees on the right side of the parking area.

If you are coming from Walnut Creek:
Take highway 24 West. Take Central Lafayette exit. At the light, turn left on to Deerhill Rd. When Deerhill ends (past the BART station), turn left onto Happy Valley Rd. Drive one block. Turn right onto Mt. Diablo Blvd. Drive through one light (Dolores/Mt. View), and one long city block from this intersection, then turn right at the Veterans parking lot. It looks like you're going into a construction site, up into a hill. As you drive up the road you'll veer right two times. Look for the HCH signs. Our building is the first building on the right. It's nestled in the trees on the right side of the parking area.

See you there, Glenn.
