Hey everyone. I've been thinking about it for a bit, and decided we should try to get Jericho going during some public outdoor events. The first one we will be doing this year will take place during the annual Japan Town Cherry Blossom Festival. Because there will be crowds and law enforcement, we're going to make a few adjustments to the game besides the bandana rule. For this one, we will ONLY be using FRONT LOADING SINGLE SHOT BLASTERS(I will provide some if necessary). So not only are clip fed and electric blasters out, but everything else besides those two. The second thing will be that this game will have shorter rounds with closer distances(round length still tbd), or perhaps even multiple pickup locations. I'm hoping these changes will get the gameplay inside buildings and within the crowds, in turn encouraging some serious old school spy action. Because we will be playing in a very condensed area that will attract more attention than usual, I do actually want to keep this game at about thirty players at most. If you do intend on not going, please adjust your RSVP accordingly so those on the wait list can RSVP.
For the moment, the plan is to meet at Raymond Kimbell Playground, then work our way into the festival and surrounding areas. But please double check here the night before the game to make sure that location hasn't changed. Also since the festival is going on, traffic will be more troublesome than normal, and parking will be significantly more difficult this day, so please be prepared to arrive early. Also, in case meetup is down for whatever reason like last month, I can be contacted directly at bjersando at google mail. Hopefully that should cover everything. Don't forget your bandana and your single shot blaster and I'll see you in a few weeks!
