"Faster Model Deployment with KijiExpress"
WibiData, Kiyan Ahmadizadeh
KijiExpress is an open source tool for building ad-hoc data processing pipelines and for developing & deploying machine learning models. Express is built around Scalding (Scala + Cascading) and includes advanced features for defining ML model configuration. In this talk, Kiyan will introduce the concepts in KijiExpress and describe how it enables faster iteration on ML model development.
"Powering Energy Insights with Kiji"
Opower, Data Services Member
Opower uses a variety of Kiji tools to power an energy insight platform capable of managing large amounts of energy data and providing insights that help people manage their energy use. In this talk, the Opower Data Services team will present their Kiji-based energy storage schema and provide an in-depth walk through of some of the Kiji tools that are currently used for analyzing energy usage data.
