TokuMX: Fractal Tree indexing for MongoDB

Zardosht Kasheff (@zkasheff) will be coming to talk about TokuMX.

Tokutek's Fractal Tree indexes, used in TokuMX for MongoDB, improve performance and add compression to helping eliminate I/O bottlenecks in big data applications. He will compare Fractal Trees to B-Trees, the traditional data structure used in many databases, and demonstrate how and why TokuMX provides the benefits over vanilla MongoDB. Some of them are; improved write performance on large data, compression and no fragmentation.

He'll also cover the other differences between vanilla & TokuMX, explaining how close to MongoDB v2.4 compatible it is. There will be time for questions.

Although I'm very interested in TokuMX, I won't be able to attend. Will it be recorded? Thanks
