For the second San Francisco Tracker User Group meetup we're going to try the meeting template proposed last time. We're going to have some initial training for those new to Tracker, a discussion of new or soon-to-come features, and then a free-ranging discussion of the philosophy behind the small point scales in Tracker and how best to estimate stories.

The meetup will start at 6:30 p.m. with a simple introduction to Tracker for those new to the tool. All are welcome, and even if you already know your way around Tracker, the beer and snacks will be fresher the earlier you arrive.

At 6:45 p.m. or so, we'll get into some demos of new features, including a revamped Dashboard, Activity Feeds including Atom support, time zone support, and a handful of usability improvements.
When we're done showing off the new features, we'll launch into a discussion about story estimation and why Tracker enforces small, fixed point values for estimation. There is no one true answer to much of anything in the software development world, but we'd like a chance to explain the thinking behind the tool. We also want to hear from you why that does or doesn't work well in your environments and what might make Tracker even more productive for you.

We're also looking for the best way to hear from you, the users, what the next TUG should cover. Please leave comments in the group or email [masked] with your thoughts.
