Pivotal Labs is pleased to announce Tracker User Groups! We’ll be hosting user groups focused on our award-winning Pivotal Tracker project management software in both our San Francisco and New York offices, starting in April.

The Tracker User Groups are a forum for product managers, project managers, entrepreneurs, and developers to share techniques and discuss the real day-to-day issues surrounding software project management. We’ll talk about upcoming Tracker features and look at third-party integrations. We'll discuss story estimation techniques and talk about what makes a good story. We’ll share our experience with agile planning, discuss patterns and anti-patterns of story management and acceptance, and generally discuss how to make the most effective use of the tool and the process that the tool is supposed to support.

We look forward to talking directly with our users and understanding what they love most and like least about Tracker so we can continue to make it better. We hope you can join us!

It was great to see a demo of the product and upcoming features. I am a new user, and was hoping to see how project mgrs could better use it as a task-tracker, but left without a good sense of that. The presenter was good, but it could have been better bifurcated into dev/pm work flow.

It was good to see the developers, hear the CEO. The atmosphere was a bit too casual: we had worked all day, I was surprised at the hospitality, an awkward afterthought of candy bars and soda offered about 35 minutes into the Meet Up. Maybe my expectations were high. Clearly a first effort at getting customers together. There was no networking opportunity-no intros and employees of Pivotal weren't all wearing Pivotal shirts, so it was confusing who the group was.

The overall philosophy involving Tracker was really interesting; will definitely check it out for my next Agile project. Thanks for the demo and discussion.

This first Tracker User Group Meetup will be a chance for you to let us know how we can better serve the community of Pivotal Tracker users. We have some ideas but we are excited to hear yours as well, and we hope to see you there!
